Living a Relevant Christian life

Today we’re diving into a topic that every man wrestles with at some point—Faith.

Men are notorious for being skeptical when it comes to religion and faith. We want answers. We want proof. We want things we can measure, test, and explain. But faith doesn’t work that way.

Take Charles Darwin, for example. Early in life, he considered becoming a missionary. Yet he ended up rejecting the things of God, becoming an atheist, and embracing evolution. His downfall was his desire to know everything—and in the end, he knew nothing of the One who truly holds all knowledge.

Men, here’s the truth: we don’t know it all, no matter how much we think we do. Faith moves us beyond what we know and places us in a posture of trusting the One who does know it all.

Scripture Reading – 1 Corinthians 13:9

“For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.”

That verse reminds us that our knowledge is limited. We only see part of the picture. Faith fills in the gap by trusting God with what we cannot see or understand.

So let’s ask the question: What is Faith?

Scripture Reading – Hebrews 11:1–3

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

For by it the elders obtained a good report.

By faith we understand that the ages were framed by a word of God, so that the things being seen not to have come into being out of the things that appear.”

Faith is powerful. Let’s break it down:

•Faith is the substance of things hoped for.

•Faith is the evidence of things not seen.

•Faith is the power and backing for those who believe.

•Faith is the creative force behind God’s works.

•Faith is our testimony for doing what is right.

•Faith goes beyond the natural laws of mankind.

•Faith is how God is pleased with us.

•Faith is total dependence on the living God.

•Faith is our support from God in all things.

•Faith is our hope in Him and for our future.

Men, faith circumvents logic. It goes beyond our comfort zones and our learned knowledge. It’s not something that can be boxed in or explained by human reasoning.

Faith in the one true God separates us from all other religions. Religion without faith leaves us empty, still wandering, still searching. But faith in God fills us, sustains us, and brings peace into our lives.

Faith is not blind. Faith is our logic. Faith is our explanation. Faith strengthens us to follow the invisible God. And here’s the beauty: faith reveals the invisible and brings it into our dimension.

Closing Thoughts:

So today, let’s embrace faith—not as a weakness, but as the greatest strength a man can have. Faith is trusting the God who knows all, sees all, and holds all.

God’s truth shape your life.
