e-Sword Psa 9:10 Those who know your name trust you, O LORD, because you have never deserted those who seek your help.
A month ago, the world watched in horror as terrorists from the organization called Hamas performed horrific atrocities on the people of Israel. Women and children were rapped, burned alive, beaten, beheaded, and much more. Husbands and men were disembowel, shot in the head, dead body chopped up, beheaded, and much more. All of this evil was recorded on video from the very people doing the atrocities. Even today, these demonically enhanced individuals have hostages and have declared they will do more evil toward the people Israel. The rise of hatred towards the Jews is worse than it has ever been. Many young people are ignorant to the tyranny and falsities that evil leaders declare. It would leave many thinking “ Why is God not helping me?”
God is not dead! He is still working in our midst. He is helping those who truly trust in Him. His hand of protection is upon those who seek after his heart. Some may ask why would God allow evil to perform theses acts. God does allow evil to temporary to operate on the world today. The better question would be “ Why does God allow individuals free will? He gives all free will. They choose evil or good. The choose to perform acts of kindness or acts of horrid atrocities. He gives us free will because He does not control or manipulate his creation. He is not a dictator or an evil monarch. He is a loving God who desires for all to come to him freely. Freely minded individuals choose to follow the living God and follow his righteous ways. Those who are not freely minded are bound to the lie of the devil. They are servants and bond slaves to the devil’s control. What is worse that being a slave? Not knowing that you are one. Hamas believes they are doing this for their own good and are too ignorant and most cases too stupid to see they are doing the work of their true God. They devil.
Why did God not help the people of Israel? Why were these acts of evil allowed to be performed? Just because someone calls themselves God’s child does not mean they are God’s child. Those who know the name of the Lord and trust him get his help. Remember we are given free choice. Being a child of God does not mean that bad things will not happen either. Evil is in the world and it desires to squash out good.
Many put their trust in their own devices. Horses and chariots does not mean victory. God will help those who follow after him. This may seem selfish or even self fulfilling. However, our God honors his creation and upholds to the desire of free will. He will not cross that boundary.
Psa 33:16 No king achieves a victory with a large army. No warrior rescues himself by his own great strength.
Psa 33:17 Horses are not a guarantee for victory. Their great strength cannot help someone escape.
Psa 33:18 The LORD’s eyes are on those who fear him, on those who wait with hope for his mercy
Psa 33:19 to rescue their souls from death and keep them alive during a famine.
Psa 33:20 We wait for the LORD. He is our help and our shield.
He desires non to perish but all to come to him. He waits patiently and is never forceful. He knows his ways are higher and brings life. Individuals simply have to receive this truth and live by it.
Psa 33:21 In him our hearts find joy. In his holy name we trust.
Psa 33:22 Let your mercy rest on us, O LORD, since we wait with hope for you.
He does not desire for anyone to perish. He is patiently waiting for all to come to him. Look what he did for the people during Noah’s time. It took Noah over 100 years to see the saving ark to come to fruition. During this time many could have come to the faith and become passengers on the ship. They chose not to and suffered the consequences.
e-Sword 1Pe 3:20 They are like those who disobeyed long ago in the days of Noah when God waited patiently while Noah built the ship. In this ship a few people—eight in all—were saved by water.
So Why does God not help?
1. Only those who trust in Him get his full attention.
2. He has compassion on whom he has compassion and mercy on whom he has mercy on.
3. He is waiting for the call of help.
4. He is waiting for you to move out of the way so he can help.
5. His ways or higher than our ways which means his help could come in ways that are not to our liking.
6. Don’t confuse conformity with commitment.
