In today’s world, men have been belittled, judged for their masculinity, made to look weak, and told to be apologetic for being a Man. If a man is a husband then the defamation becomes increased. Just watch current sitcoms or popular TV shows; the husband is made to look like an incompetent person who can’t ever make sound decisions.

The lines have been redrawn and many don’t know what a Husband should be. Fortunately for us, the word of God gives us a blue print on how to be a great Husband and a Man. I want to make this blog post simple. I will give a list of what a Husband and man should be then at the end of the post you will have references to look up and perform a deeper study.

I am a Husband here me roar.

1. A Husband is a man’s man: A man’s man is simply a man who is self aware of his masculinity and has control over it.

2. A Husband is a protector: Men are natural protectors and defenders of their wives, children, and territory.

3. A Husband is a leader: Husband’s lead their wives with wisdom, empathy, patience, and love.

4. A Husband is a man of faith: Being a true man means being a man of faith. Men of faith realize that there is something bigger than themselves. The Husband leads his wife and family in the faith.

5. A Husband always takes the high road: Husbands take the high road in arguments and disagreements. They glean from their wisdom on how to handle the disagreements.

6. A Husband is sacrificial: Real men sacrifice everything for their woman and for their family. They put behind them childish ways and selfishness.

7. A Husband honors his vows: Real men honor the vows they have made to their wives.

8. A Husband provides: A husband provides for his wife and family and works hard to ensure their well-being.
