Proverbs 2:1 My son, if you take my words to heart and treasure my commands within you,

Pro 2:2  if you pay close attention to wisdom, and let your mind reach for understanding,

Pro 2:3  if indeed you call out for insight, if you ask aloud for understanding,

Pro 2:4  if you search for wisdom as if it were money and hunt for it as if it were hidden treasure,

Pro 2:5  then you will understand the fear of the LORD and you will find the knowledge of God.

Pro 2:6  The LORD gives wisdom. From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Pro 2:7  He has reserved priceless wisdom for decent people. He is a shield for those who walk in integrity

Pro 2:8  in order to guard those on paths of justice and to watch over the way of his godly ones.

Wisdom has greater value than gold and priceless jewels. Searching for wisdom is like a person searching deeply for buried treasure. Once discovered the wisdom obtained will be the only thing you will ever need. 

Wisdom\’s life force comes from the breath of the Living God. God\’s wisdom obtains his knowledge and understanding. As we ask for his Wisdom, he gives it freely for all who desire it. 

Why is wisdom so powerful and important? His wisdom is a shield which protects us from the evil around us. It guards our paths and sets our feet on the path of justice. It watches over us and ensures we walk in righteousness. 

The value of Wisdom ( Read Proverbs chapter 2)

1.  Wisdom teaches us what is good and fair in life. It shows us God\’s code of living. 

2. Wisdom shows us what is evil and gives us knowledge and understanding on how to stay away from the evil. 

3. Wisdom gives you the words to combat the evil ones spoken against you.

4. Wisdom gives you power to walk with intergrity and in purity. 

Wisdom\’s value is like the air we breathe. God\’s understanding and knowledge pouring inside of us is so vital in this day. We need his Wisdom in order to combat the evil voices and the evil ideology which is plaguing society today. When you understand wisdom\’s value then it becomes your most prized possess that you can never give up.
