Relevant Life

Years ago, I was performing normal day to day human actions when all of a sudden I had an open vision. I was allowed to see the planning room of Satan and his generals. I saw a map of the world sitting on the table. Satan was giving direction to his minions on where to attack. The attacks would be spiritual which would affect the natural. I remember the enemy telling them to increase the attack of lust, greed, pride, anger, and other sinful thoughts. I remember seeing the middle east circled in a big red circle and appeared to be the source of greatest attack. There were other places in the world circled but the middle East stood out the most. I remember the Lord telling me that the Unseen realm does not exist just because many can not see it. He spoke and told me that the enemy is always planning and making war against the Saints and the world. He hates all human beings. He desires to destroy us all. It was mentioned to me that the enemy does not make war in plain sight but makes war through the proxy of others. We must continually be on our guard.

I know this might sound strange to you. Maybe you think my imagination has got the best of me. Maybe you know me and see that I am not a perfect man. Why would God show me this? I can understand your skepticism. I am skeptical myself sometimes. It is true that I am not perfect and have my own struggles. However, this has nothing to do with how and who God chooses to show certain things too. It does not make me greater or smaller. The reality is this. There is an unseen world and there are battles waging behind the scenes. I don’t believe everything that happens in the world is Satan’s fault directly. Remember Satan is a liar and a deceiver. He uses proxies to do his bidding. Let’s look at some scripture about this subject.

1Timothy 4:1-2 GW  The Spirit says clearly that in later times some believers will desert the Christian faith. They will follow spirits that deceive, and they will believe the teachings of demons.  (2)  These people will speak lies disguised as truth. Their consciences have been scarred as if branded by a red-hot iron.

Titus 1:10 GW  There are many believers, especially converts from Judaism, who are rebellious. They speak nonsense and deceive people.

The truth is that the enemy mostly uses those who are in the church or of a religious persuasion. Many times these are his proxies to do his bidding. Remember it was the Pharisees and Sadducees who did the bidding of Satan by getting Jesus killed on the Cross. Now the Lord allowed it and it was a part of his greater plan but it was the enemy’s hate and desire to see Jesus killed.  Human beings throughout the centuries have fallen prey to Satan’s desires and helped him fulfill his evil plans.

Today is no different. We wrestle not against flesh and blood. We war against the unseen realm. Whether you are a Christian or not; it does not matter. There is an unforeseen world which rages. Righteous angels war against the unrighteous fallen ones. The Book of Daniel gives us a glimpse of this truth.

Daniel 10:12-14 GW  He told me, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. God has heard everything that you said ever since the first day you decided to humble yourself in front of your God so that you could learn to understand things. I have come in response to your prayer.  (13)  The commander of the Persian kingdom opposed me for 21 days. But then Michael, one of the chief commanders, came to help me because I was left alone with the kings of Persia.  (14)  I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the last days, because the vision is about times still to come.”

Daniel had prayed for wisdom and direction for his people. It took 21 days to get an answer due to angels fighting in the heavens against fallen angels who tried everything in their power to prevent the message from reaching to Daniel’s ears. I truly believe the Bible when it declares that there is another unseen world. This realm has rulers and warriors who are fighting for us and fighting against us.

Ephesians 6:11-13 GW  Put on all the armor that God supplies. In this way you can take a stand against the devil’s strategies.  (12)  This is not a wrestling match against a human opponent. We are wrestling with rulers, authorities, the powers who govern this world of darkness, and spiritual forces that control evil in the heavenly world.  (13)  For this reason, take up all the armor that God supplies. Then you will be able to take a stand during these evil days. Once you have overcome all obstacles, you will be able to stand your ground.

We can’t let our guard down or forget who we are truly fighting. I know it is hard to believe this truth because our natural eyes can not see. Maybe if they did see we would be worse off at the horror that would behold our eyes. Put it this way. Many around the world believed in other planets without seeing them clearly. Then when NASA would show the world pictures of Mars or the moon Titan; many would allow their faith in other planets to become reality. Understand this, just because you can’t see the unseen realm yet does not mean it does not exists. Jesus declared that one day everyone will see. Will your faith just be strengthen when the unseen is revealed? Or will your lack of faith leave you hopeless and in damnation?

So what now? We have to have faith that there is an unseen realm which wages in battles all around the Globe. We have to be sensitive to the Spirit to know when spiritual battles are taking place. We are called to pray and use the armor of God to fight in the realm of the Spirit. As we look at current events transpiring around the globe, don’t forget to see them through the lenses of the supernatural. Pray and be ready. Discern through the Spirit and be prepared for what may come next. Be diligent loved ones and know that our God is great and mighty.
