Relevant Life

Many would argue that truth is a mirage over the horizon. Truth , for some, is in the eye  of the beholder. In other words, what I believe to be true might not be truth to you. How can this be? What is truth then? Should we be seekers of truth? Is there absolute truth?

Philosophers have talked about truth and man’s destiny to seize it once it is discovered. Others have stated that truth is bloodied by those who wish to make it obscure.

One thing is true. Truth can be obtained if the seeker is willing to receive all that truth demonstrates and reveals. Only fools refuse to receive and grasp ahold of truth. They believe their opinions and personal beliefs are truth. They refuse to believe the one and absolute truth. They perform this feat by convincing themselves that the absolute truth is not one path but  many paths to self-righteousness and self-enlightenment.

Unfortunately, truth is typically followed by the minority because the majority tend to follow distorted facts like sheep who mindlessly follow the lead sheep to slaughter. The majority tend to have no personal thought or truth based understanding. Many follow what feels right  and convert to absurdity.

Truth always rests with the minority, and the minority is always stronger than the majority, because the minority is generally formed by those who really have an opinion, while the strength of a majority is illusory, formed by the gangs who have no opinion – and who, therefore, in the next instant (when it is evident that the minority is the stronger) assume its opinion … while Truth again reverts to a new minority.——-Soren Kierkegaard

If we are going to be followers of truth then we have to shed all our personal inhibitions and seek truth with relentless passion. In reality, many desire not to seek truth because it does not conform or fit into their puzzle of a life. They will convince themselves that they have the truth but ignorance and absurdity oozes from their face like puss from a wound.

Truth can not be convinced, rewritten, conformed, transformed, or rearranged.  We either believe in truth or fallacy. The truth is based on facts which can be debated but never refuted. Many mistake the debating of truth as a means of weakening it’s foundation. There is only one truth. Since there is absolute truth then it stands to reason that there is absolute fallacy. Absolute fallacy has a tinge of truth; just enough for the ignorant to follow it blindly.

What is absolute truth? This is simple. All truth comes from the creator of truth. The living God is the author of truth and declares His truth through his son. John 14:6 “ Jesus answered, I am the way, and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me.

There is no other way to God. There are not many paths only one. All other religions are not born through the truth, They are born through falsehood and deceives many around the world. How is God’s truth revealed? Holy Spirit reveals His truth to mankind and his word is the truth that is revealed.

John 16:13-15  When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into the full truth. He won’t speak on his own. He will speak what he hears and will tell you about things to come.  (14)  He will give me glory, because he will tell you what I say.  (15)  Everything the Father says is also what I say. That is why I said, ‘He will take what I say and tell it to you.’

John 17:17  “Use the truth to make them holy. Your words are truth.

Many would say that the Bible is written by men, Their ignorance prevents them from seeing the absurdity of their argument. Their belief systems are written by men as well. Their argument has no foundation and can not refute the truth. God used men to write his truth this is correct. However, it does not refute the truth but strengthen it’s power and purpose. Only those who passionately seek the truth are worthy to write about it and present it to the world.  The Evil one of this world perverts the truth in order to entrap the minds of many. However, he can never cover up the truth or make it dark enough for the light of truth to not shine. This is why keepers of the truth are ridiculed and hated. True truth keepers are despised from the world because the TRUTH ( Jesus) was despised from the world.

Why do so many easily follow the fallacy of this world. Simple, Fallacy tastes better and looks better on the surface. Fallacy allows the follower to live anyway they please without repercussion and consequence. To make fallacy truth allows the ignorant to perform acts of sin without conviction. Just like Cain convinced himself that it was alright to kill his brother Able. Just like David convinced himself that it was alright to sleep with another man’s wife. Fallacy can easily be manipulated into absurd truth. The whole Old Testament of the Bible declares the ignorance of man and records their following of fallacy. Some would argue. Why would God allow all the evil things recorded in the Old Testament. I tell you that the Old Testament shows how stupid, absurd, ignorant, and ridiculous you and I really are. Without TRUTH ( Jesus), we are doomed to die in our fallacy. Without the absolute truth, we are hopeless and bound to a life of absurdity.

Listen and see, just because you convince yourself that TRUTH is not longer the truth you follow does not excuse or wipe away absolute truth’s residue. Truth will continue to live on even after you and I have tried to put it to death. The ridiculous and obscure convince themselves that their self-righteousness and self-enlightenment is truth. Anyone can convince themselves that they are a car or an animal. They may live as a car or an animal but it does not make them a car or an animal. If I stand in a garage; it does not make me a car. If I run butt naked into the wilderness it does not make me an wild animal. ( Just a nasty butt naked man.) You and I can use absurdity and fallacy as your foundation of self-indulgence but Truth will still stand as a beckon of light in the midst of your darkness.

The answer for mankind is and will always be Jesus Christ. Truth for mankind will always be to come to Jesus and be washed from of our  filthy sin. He is the only hope, the only truth, and the shining Light for all. Satan will try to convince the world differently but he will not win in the end. You can either follow Satan’s lie or follow God’s truth. The choice is and will always be yours.  There  is only one absolute truth and only one absolute fallacy. Which one do you follow?
