Living a Relevant Christian life

The Greatest Day Ever

Act 5:41-42 GW  The apostles left the council room. They were happy to have been considered worthy to suffer dishonor for speaking about Jesus.  (42)  Every day in the temple courtyard and from house to house, they refused to stop teaching and telling the Good News that Jesus is the Messiah.

Have you ever had the greatest day ever!!! It was just one of those days where you ask \” How can it get any better?\” There are great days in our lives where we feel a sense of accomplishment.

For a believer, our best days ever are a little different than what the world would consider a great day.  The apostles were just beaten by the Jewish council of the day, threaten to not to teach about Jesus, and then released back into the public. The apostles left the council room that day rejoicing. They had the greatest day ever because they suffered for the cause of Christ. They ignored the requests from the religious people and preached Jesus everywhere. Truly it was a great day.

Our world is changing. I believe the spiritual time line for mankind was cut some more when the American President announced Jerusalem as Israel\’s capital. Something in heaven shook and mankind received another wake up call. As believers, we should be excited for what is to come. Our Savior\’s return is getting closer and closer to our reality. We should be even more excited about sharing the Good News to the world. The Lord is not all concerned about how we started the race but is more concern with how we finish it. Believers have to be about the Father\’s business.

I truly sense great days ahead. The great days might not be in the form of how our flesh might like it but great days in the Lord are still to come. Believers need to stand firm and be prepared for one of the greatest moves of His spirit that this world has ever seen. This great move will come through great turmoil but the power of Christ will be abundantly clear. So be happy! Be Excited!!! Great days are ahead!!!!
