ON THAT DAY

Zechariah 14:3-9  Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations as he does when he fights a battle.  (4)  On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, just east of Jerusalem. The Mount of Olives will be split in two, forming a very large valley from east to west. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and the other half will move toward the south.  (5)  Then you will flee to the valley of my mountains, because this valley between the mountains will go as far as Azel. You will flee as you did from the earthquake at the time of King Uzziah of Judah. The LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones will be with him.  (6)  On that day there will be neither heat nor freezing cold.  (7)  There will be one day-a day known to the LORD-with no difference between day and night. It will be light even in the evening.  (8)  On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it to the Dead Sea and the other half to the Mediterranean Sea. It will continue in summer and in winter.  (9)  The LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day the LORD will be the only Lord and his name the only name.

We are truly living in the last Days before the Last Day of our Human disposition. The world around us is changing and mankind is growing rapidly in thought and in self-centeredness.

With changing weather patterns and bizarre storms hitting all around the globe, one would have to wonder if our hour is coming sooner than we think. Right before Hurricane Irene hit the east coast from North Carolina up to New York causing 2 million people to be without power and killing 42 people; there was a 6.5 magnitude earth quake in Washington DC. The White House was evacuated and the Washington Moment was closed to the public due to cracks at the base. Why did we not hear about this all over the news? It seems weird to me and I am not a conspiracy theorist like some are either. I believe we are seeing the earth vomiting herself up because of the course of Sin. Climate changes and other cause and effects are changing our Planets durability. We are seeing the birth pangs which Jesus talked about almost 2,000 years ago.

There is coming a day when our Lord will stand on the Mount of  Olives and release his judgment in the valley of Jehoshaphat. For all those foo foo Christians that say Jesus is just about love will finally see how power His love really is. Those who have rejected His truth will soon discover the error of their ways. We seem to forget that our God is the all powerful God. We also seem to forget that the Lord keeps His promises. He will return and He will vindicate His righteousness to the people of this planet. 

Christians need to realize that what we do in this life is just preparation for the next. We will play an important role in the reign of our Lord. We have a greater purpose more than most could ever know. We will show the world that our Lord is truly the only Lord. We will be ambassadors for his goodness to the remaining nations. The Earth and it\’s inhabitants will finally be revived to its original purpose and the City of God will be in the center of it all. It will become the shining light for all to be drawn too. Ladies and Gentlemen this is not a Science Fiction novel but the truth of our Lord.  On that Day our lives will be changed for ever. Which side will you be on?
